Rishikesh, India
Rishikesh is dubbed the birth place of yoga as we know it today. The holiest river in India, Ganga, flows through this town, making it a prime pilgrimage destination.
This is was my first time in India, my first time solo travelling, my first time staying in a hostel. I was excited to get to know this often overlooked city and learn more about myself through a new experience.
Located inside what is colloquially known as the 'Beatles Aashram', because The Beatles came here to learn transcendental meditation. These are two-story meditation caves.
